Tony Gibbons Memorial Fund

Tony Gibbons, what a community hero. Throughout Dorset, thousands of families have benefitted from Tony's dedication and huge heart over the past 15 years. He unexpectedly passed away in late February 2022, but he leaves his legacy - the Friendly Food Club to carry on.

Tony created the Friendly Food Club to deliver food education, self-confidence and cookery training through demonstrations, cookery workshops, and food parcel deliveries. Thanks to Tony, the 'Club' has grown and now reaches people in all corners of Dorset.

In 2021 he received an Education Award from the National Lottery thanks to delivering meals and Cookboxes to over 4,500 families during Covid.

We are offering people who knew Tony an opportunity to contribute to this legacy by donating to the Friendly Food Club. Donations will support low-income people and families in Dorset to access easy and cheap to cook recipes, workshops and demonstrations.
