Tony Monticello medical expense fundraiser
On July 24th Tony had a bad fall and ended up at Portage Health. Later that morning he was air lifted to Marquette and has been there since. Tony suffered from a brain injury and has other injuries. Tony's recovery is expected to be a long process. We are asking for help with his medical expenses as they are adding up very quickly and he still has a long road ahead of him. For the past month and 1 day Tony has been in the ICU.
On August 9th, Tony opened his eyes for the first time from a medically induced coma, and has been slowly getting better since. August 25th Tony was flown from KI Sawyer Airport to Chicago, Illinois where he was accepted at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. This lab is the leader in caring for brain injury patients with a wide range of functional impairments, that range from the most catastrophic injuries to the less severe. We are unaware at how long he will need to be there to heal, but know that it is still a long and difficult road ahead for him. We would like to thank everybody who has been praying for him and reaching out to the family. Please continue to pray for him.
We also have a medical fund set up at Superior National Bank for him where people can stop by and inform a teller it's for Tony Monticello to make a contribution.
