Tony Mora

Hi my name is Cathy Mistone and I decided to open a Go Fund Me Page to help my dear friend Tony Mora. A year ago an elderly gentleman suffered a cardiac arrest and crashed his car into the fire hydrant in front of the Mora home in La Verne. La Verne paramedics were called and sadly the gentleman passed away. Tony's home suffered severe damage because of all the water from the fire hydrant. Tony started repairs on his home as he awaited compensation from the man's insurance. That has not happened and in the mean time Tony has been diagnosed with congestive heart and kidney failure and that requires a kidney transplant. He is undergoing dialysis three times a week and will need a kidney transplant.  Because of his serious medical condition he is very weak and not able to provide for his family. Tony is a lifelong resident of La Verne, graduated from Bonita High, opened Mora Plumbing and has served the community for over thirty years. Tony's an avid fisherman who has donated to so many causes that help foster children experience a real fishing experience and even plays Santa on Christmas morning. He's one of the " honest good guys" who took care of those who needed his services but couldn't pay. Many many residents can attest to this. I'm honored to ask for help for my dear friend and his family because he is very ill and needs help and would never ask. Because the man who caused the accident passed away insurance has not come through yet. Tony and his family are living in a house that had to be gutted and because of his very serious medical condition he needs to hire a contractor to complete the work. Skilled tradesman in La Verne have stepped forward to put the house back together. I ask if you could give any extra you have to help my friend it would be so greatly appreciated.
