Tony Putnam Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Our Associate Pastor, Tony Putnam, at Rocky Mount has been diagnosed with a rare cancer. He can not be treated by surgery or chemotherapy, therefore, he is turning to alternative methods. Here is the description in Tony's words:
"I was diagnosed with a rare cancer, Leiomyosarcoma, in my abdomen in July of 2019. It was surgically removed and all was well until late November when the pain returned. A CT scan in early December revealed multiple tumors in my lower abdominal area and one possibly in my lower right lung. Because of the location, type and some other unique features of this particular rare cancer, neither surgery nor chemotherapy were viable options. Since July we have been researching what options were available to us should it return. It became clear through our own research and the help of trusted health care professionals that we would have to seek alternative forms of treatment. A cancer outside the box requires treatment outside the box. So, we will be treated by the best naturopathic doctors and integrative oncologists we could find that had a clue about Leiomyosarcoma. Our hope is very high because we believe that God is a healing God.
The cost as best we can tell will be in the $38,000 range plus travel expenses."
We have created this Gofundme page for anyone that would like to donate to assist the Putnam Family during this difficult time. We want you to know that Tony is remaining positive and he only asked for prayers, but if you are like me, you really want to help in some small way. We ask that you please keep the Putnam Family in your prayers.
