Tony Yang’s Stroke Recovery

Hello everyone,

On 08/19/2023 our dear Tony (age 41) suffered from a stroke that led to him being flown out of Wausau to Madison. We have been told that he will have to remain there in Madison for several weeks and beyond to heal. Before this terrible event, Tony was the breadwinner for his family of three children and loving wife.

We are unsure when Tony will be able to return home or be able to work again due to this stroke causing the loss of function in his dominant left hand, changes to his vision and difficulty maintaining his balance.

My husband Tony has a long way to go before he is able to function again. Re-learning normal human tasks again such as eating, walking, and standing up by himself with long hours of physical therapy and rehabilitation. The road to recovery is a long one and an uphill battle our family will have to go through together. We want to be able to provide the best chance possible for Tony’s recovery. As the sole breadwinner of the household, if he cannot grip and function with his left side, he will not be able to return to work.

We normally would not ask for help from others, but now we are asking for any donations big or small to help assist in the financial hardships we will be facing while Tony and us focus on his health.
