Let’s help put a roof over their head!

After the devastating blow of Cyclone Gabrielle on our fellow communities it is unfathomable that so many homes are left ruined, and condemned. Irreplaceable lifelong belongings and memories are just left to drown in the silt.

Sadly, for this particular home, the family's insurance company is not covering all the damages, leaving them with nothing.

This father and son have lost their home. Their backyard is in 10ft of silt and their cars were submerged upside down and in the ground. They are left with no where to go.

Whilst they are optimistic, happy to be alive and grateful for the community effort, their home in Eskdale (Hawkes Bay) is unrepairable. This has been one of the worst-hit regions and being on the ground there to support them was heartbreaking.

As loving friends of this family, we have decided to support those who keep asking us how they can help our wider community. This fund raised will be to support and aid them over this overwhelming emotional time without the added financial stress.

We Kiwis know how to support our fellow communities and this is the least we can do for one of the many families affected by this horrific event.
