Top Surgery for my Partner Malachi

I fell in love with Malachi the minute I met him. He's the kind of person who you can't help but smile at. His laughter is like medicine. Everything about him glows. We've been together now for nine months, and I've never been happier. But as I have fallen deeper and deeper in love with him, I have seen him struggle to love himself, to love his body. Malachi has been out as a trans for a year now, and I have seen hormone therapy do wonders for him. I've seen him giggle with glee at being able to sing octaves lower than he was ever able to before. He has been gallantly trying to raise the money for top surgery on his own, but as an international student who is already working multiple jobs to pay for university, he doesn't exactly have a couple extra thousand dollars lying around. He has wanted to start a GoFundMe for a while now, but he was scared. Malachi comes from a country where it is illegal to be gay, let alone trans. If anyone from back home saw that he was raising money for top surgery, he could be disowned by his entire family. But after much convincing, Malachi agreed to let me start a fundraiser for him.
