Tor wants to walk again and needs your help

My name is Tor. I am a handsome three-year-old mixed breed dog. Born on an Idaho sheep ranch, my first year was rather rocky...just not a good fit. Sigh. Lucky dog that I am, I landed on my feet after being rescued by a wonderful family. My new life had begun, filled with a great new home, a great future, and my new dog buddy, Scree.
Sadly, my luck changed in March 2023, when I was hit by a truck. Both my rear hock bones (ankles) were broken and splintered. The skin on my rear legs was scraped away to the bone, and my hips incurred trauma. As a result of a metal splinter in my back, I developed large abscesses that had to be drained daily. I still have a serous bacterial infection. I spent two months in Shoshone Veterinary Hospital where the vet saved my life. But my flesh wounds and fractured right and left hock, broken left leg have not sufficiently healed, so I am unable to walk. The injuries to my rear legs need additional treatment and specialized bone surgeries to properly heal.
I am happy to be home. My family and Scree are happy too. I can still wag my tail. But my life is so very limited with pain and legs that do not work.
Without your financial contributions, I will be unable to have the critical surgeries ahead of me. If you can help, I thank you. My family thanks you. And so does my good buddy, Scree, who misses our romps, thanks you.
