Hi, my name is Tori, and for my Bat Mitzvah Project, I am raising money for orphaned elephants being rescued and rehabilitated. The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust focuses on protecting wildlife and preserving habitats in East Africa. I’m very excited that I am going to Kenya and visiting the Nairobi Baby Elephant Orphanage in July. I will be able to see first hand how they care for these orphans and prepare them to be reintegrated back into the wild.
