COVID-19 is ravaging lives worldwide. One group seriously impacted are unemployed Liberian Refugees, who prior to the covid-19 pandemic were unjustifiably denied permits to work by the US Government for decades. On Dec 20, 2019, President Trump signed the Liberian Refugee Act into law, making all Liberian refugees eligible for Green Card. Without jobs for decades, refugees can't pay the filing fee of about $1500 per applicant. As the deadline for filing looms, COVID-19 hit the world.
