Tornado Damage Fund for Coach Cobb
Donation protected
As I am sure most of you are aware, late Monday night January 25, 2021 a tornado ripped through cities just north of Birmingham, primarily causing destruction to the neighborhoods of Fultondale and Center Point. You may not know that one of our very own was impacted tremendously by this storm. Coach Tim Cobb lives in Fultondale and his home, vehicles and property were severely damaged. Coach Cobb is a math teacher at Pelham High School and has been an athletic trainer for over 20 years, working not just with Pelham high school but Clay-Chalkville high school as well. I know many of our Pelham friends and family know and love Coach Cobb and appreciate the impact he has had on our children's lives in the classroom on the court and on the field. I know whatever sporting event we were at and needed him, he was there. Whenever I have a concern, I can easily reach him and get an honest response. He always puts his Pelham students and student athletes first. Coach Cobb is currently living in a hotel and his vehicle was destroyed in the storm. This picture of him is from this past Sunday night. He still came to the Pelham High School varsity girl's basketball practice to wrap ankles, see them and make sure no one needed him as he knew they had a tough week! You can see the passion he has for what he does in his eyes! If you have the means, please consider donating to help him and his family recover from the storm. If not, prayers are always welcome!
