Tornado Recovery for the Sanders Family
Donation protected
As you may have seen, severe weather ravaged through the Nashville area in the late evening/early morning hours of March 2nd, 2020. One of our former teammates, Savannah Sanders, and her family are lucky to be alive after their home was destroyed. Their home has no walls or roof remaining and nearly all of their valuable items are gone. Savannah, her parents and their family dog, Rita, were protected in a bathtub.
While we are very extremely happy her family is OK, they will be needing all the support we can give. As ISU alumni, we ask that you give what you can to this cause. Anything from your prayers to any monetary donation will help.
All funds raised through this gofundme will be given directly to the Sanders family to use as they need.
Thank you,
ISU Softball Alumni
Update from the family on Facebook: Guys I am blown away. So many people are asking how they can help, so here’s a picture to show you what we’re working with today. We salvaged everything we could in most of the rooms yesterday, and now we have two big goals. 1) Save anything we can from the garage and outside debris. 2) Clear the debris. For those of you wanting to help, our address is 1405 Barrett Drive, Mt. Juliet. We think chainsaws, shovels, work gloves, and shoes that can get wet would be helpful right now... But when you’re doing this for the first time you just figure it out as you go If we end up with a bunch of people, I know our neighbors could use the help too. All help is appreciated and we love you guys and our community so much!!!
