Tornado recovery fund for Ursula
Donation protected
On Monday, August 7th a destructive tornado ripped through our area. My mom is an 84 year old widow (Ursula). She’s too proud to ask for help so I’m doing it for her. She has a tree directly on the home and another that landed on the propane tank in front of the house. No running water and so much damage everywhere. This is being labeled a catastrophic event. People from parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia have been hit. Most of our family is impacted but my mom needs the most help. We are the most worried about the tree on the propane tank and the top of the well which also appears to have been damaged. Almost every outbuilding and car was either damaged or destroyed in the tornado as well. Debris from other people’s home has been dropped here. We are grateful to all be alive and if you choose to help please know your kindness is deeply appreciated. Please be safe and thank you.
Please note the $15,000 goal amount is what the initial estimates are coming in at, to remove the large tree on the propane tank. We are working on estimates for everything else and hoping some come in lower.
