We CONNECT those less fortunate to people who can help them; whether it be financially, over the phone, to a meal or grocery delivery, or just a lending hand... We are specifically trying to target the homeless population & low-income families, but we won't turn anyone who is desperately in need away.
TORONTO CARES INITIATIVE:
☑️ We have already connected 16000+ people with low-income backgrounds to donors/food/resources. (11/12/23)
☑️ We have already assisted over 6000 homeless people.
☑️ We provide groceries & other essentials to people from marginalized communities.
☑️ We provide free delivery with all grocery/food services, including people with no fixed address.
☑️ We are working on connecting people who are alone including seniors, to people who can call them.
☑️ We are connected to groups of people for deliveries of groceries and other essential items.
☑️ We're a team of volunteers, who rely on donations to provide food services and other essentials to the community.
☑️ We're constantly evolving our efforts and expanding our volunteer team.
☑️ We provide Easter, Back-To-School & Christmas gifts.
☑️ We recently opened a produce market.
