Toronto Global Day of Action for Climate Justice
Donation protected
Join us at Queen’s Park at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 6 for a Global Day for Climate Justice!
With recent extreme weather events and new promises made by the Federal government, we must hold our leaders accountable at the upcoming COP26 climate talks. The time for business as usual and empty promises is over. We need real action at COP26!
Here in Tkaronto/Toronto, the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat Peoples, we gather in a coalition for the Toronto Global Day of Action for Climate Justice.
It is hosted by the Nov6Toronto coalition, a diverse group of activists, union members and individuals just like yourself. *
Your generosity is needed to make this event a success! Your donations will be used to fund important logistical items including:
- staging and A/V equipment
- honorariums for musicians and speakers
- printing promotional materials, banners and more
-masks for attendees
COVID-19 precautions will be in place and attendees are encouraged to bring masks, snacks, a water bottle, and other zero-waste supplies
-> Go to nov6toronto.org for more information!
THANK YOU & HOPE TO SEE YOU ON NOVEMBER 6!
