Tororo District Children Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Dave, and I'm fundraising for my friend Joseph Onyango in Uganda (seen in the photo above with one of the children). Joseph is a bold young man, an active yogi, and a yoga teacher with the ambitious vision of raising funds to pay for food, clothes, and yoga equipment to benefit the children in his hometown district of Tororo.

While restrictions related to Covid have been lifted, life is far from being back to normal in Uganda. People were already struggling to meet basic needs before the pandemic, and things have become increasingly challenging since.

Joseph and his family are planning to pay for each child's regular food and also for uniforms, books, pens, toothbrushes, shoes for walking to school, and associated materials that are in short supply in rural Uganda. This fund is about alleviating a little of the daily struggle, which is part of life in the region. Your gift to this fund contributes towards the possibility for children to grow in a way that might otherwise elude them. Please join me in this effort!

All funds donated here will be wired to Joseph Onyango, and Joseph has committed that all funds he receives will be used only for this project.
