Christmas Lights in Torquay 2016

Torquay Chamber of Commerce were heading up a campaign to bring the sparkle back into Christmas in Torquay Town Centre, unfortunately despite our best efforts we were unable to raise the initial funds required, therefore we will re-launch our Go Fund me campaign early next year for the 2017 Christmas lights. We will post our press release on this page asap. Torquay Council are offically NOT allocating  any monies into the Christmas lights so its up to the local business community and residents to work together to bring some sparkle into the local town centre.

This GOFUNDME project to raise monies to pay for Christmas lights to be placed ALL the way down from Castle Circus to the Harbourside to light up the shopping experience in the festivities.

All funds will officially go to sponsoring lightbulbs to sparkle brightly in the Xmas/Christmas period and give the community a chance to say I gave Torquay a brighter christmas.

Local trade in the town centre need the community to get together to bring shoppers into the town centre as NO LIGHTS means NO CHRISTMAS and that would be a great shame for Torquay and the English Riviera.
