Torrance Babe Ruth 13-15u heading to World Series

The Torrance Babe Ruth 13-15 Year-Old All Stars team will be representing the Pacific Southwest Region in the 2023 Babe Ruth Baseball 13-15 Year-Old World Series in Jamestown, NY August 10th through August 19th.

This team of 15 young players hails from local schools of Torrance High, West High, South High, Narbonne, Banning and Bishop Montgomery. This is an exciting time for the players, coaches, families, friends and the entire community.

Going to the World Series is an expensive endeavor. While the Babe Ruth League provides some funding for air travel, the team needs your help to pay for accommodations, food and transportation while in New York.

Disclosure: Armi Bui, proud parent of one of the players and wife of an assistant coach, is organizing this fundraiser. All donations received will be used to pay for the 11-night hotel accommodations for 15 players and 3 coaches, rental vehicles for team transportation while in New York, and airfare cost beyond the League’s subsidy. Remaining funds received , if any, will be used towards rental vehicles’ fuel costs and players’ food allowance. Armi Bui will manage the disbursements of funds to individuals who have paid for said arrangements for the team.
