Torrie King due to being hit by a car-Surgery

Hi my name is Treaka King-Young. We created this page in support of my son Torrie King. While out shopping he was hit by a car in Dallas, Texas when crossing the street.

Family and friends I am requesting prayers for my son, and donations to help with Torrie King’s (emergency expenses). He has a lengthy recovery due to a car hitting him causing him to have emergency surgery due to a broken back.

I received a call from a witness informing me that he was hit by a car. Once at the hospital and examined it was determined that his back was broken. Thanks to the Good Samaritan on the screen who called 911, because he is not paralyzed and was able to get medical care quickly.

However a broken back is still not a good thing. He had surgery to fused the broken bones and will require some time in an inpatient rehabilitation facility.

I have been sleeping in his room by his side since Friday and can see his progress and his struggles firsthand.
