Newlyweded Active Duty Couple Loses Home In Fire

Donation protected
On July 6 at 7 in the morning, we [Keenan and I] got the devastating news that our apartment building had caught fire, and that our apartment, along with all of our belongings (and memories), were not salvageable. We got the news while out of town celebrating our honeymoon having been married shy of 2 months. We were extremely grateful to hear that our friend who was watching our dogs and both of our fur babies made it out on time and safely, and people only sustained injuries in this tragic accident; however, our apartment was on the third floor where all 8 apartments on that floor were dubbed as being a complete loss. As we cut our celebrations short to find our new home, we are asking for any donation to help us maintain stability. We currently only have a suitcase full of some clothes and shoes, we are having to rebuild up from the ground up. We know how much even the smallest things can begin to add up, so all donations will help us, no matter how small. Spc Keenan Johnson and Lauren Johnson tied the knot on May 11, 2019. Spc Keenan is an active duty soldier in the U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Bliss, El Paso, TX. Lauren is a full time student attending the University of Texas at El Paso. We thank everyone for all of their love, support, and encouraging words.
