Clinical Trial for Max
Donation protected
Our son Max (9 years Old) has a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy called Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy 2D (Not the common which is Duchene). It is a progressive genetic disease that is debilitating. He was diagnosed at 5 years old from the Neuromuscular team at Stanford Hospital. We are looking to raise $100,000 to donate to the LGMD2D.org a 501c3 non-Profit organization ID 46-4128016.
100% of the raised funds will be donated the Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus Ohio for the Phase II Gene Therapy Clinical trial led by Jerry Mendell which Max will be enrolled in the next 90 days. The trial is very expensive to manufacture the Viral Vectors for the gene replacement and this donation is critical for the trial to continue.
