Touch Rugby World Cup 2024

Aloha Family and Friends,

I'm excited to share some amazing news with you! I have been selected to represent and co-captain Team USA Mixed Open at the 2024 Touch Rugby World Cup in Nottingham, England!

 

Growing up in Kailua-Kona, my dreams always extended past our Island and putting a stamp on furthering local kids on a national stage. Thanks to our close-knit community, I've been able to chase those dreams and strive to be the best athlete and person I can be. The success of other local athletes and the unwavering support from families and friends like you have been my inspiration and source of strength.

 

Touch rugby is gaining popularity in the U.S. but is still a growing sport, especially regarding funding. Each player must raise about $11,000 to participate in the World Cup. This covers training camps across the U.S., team uniforms, medical support, strength and conditioning programs, analytics, and travel and accommodation for the tournament in Nottingham and the National Championship in New Zealand, a crucial part of our preparation.

 

So far, I've raised $6,000 through extra work, sponsorships, and fundraising events. But I still need to raise $5,000 to meet my goal. I am reaching out to ask for your support. Any financial contribution you can make would be incredibly helpful. If you own a business, you can also sponsor me through a jersey campaign that is tax deductible.
