Celebrating the Championship Season of Mo

If you know anything about Lesley Maurice "Mo" Hunter, you know he never fumbled the ball; you know that when he speaks, he speaks with a smile; you know that he loves his girls, who are spitting images of him; and you know that this towering figure is actually just a gentle giant. On October 17, 2020, our brother, father and son was brutally and maliciously attacked in the sanctity of his home where he was stabbed multiple times resulting in life-threatening injuries. Since then, he has had three surgeries and remains on life-support for critical functions supporting his kidneys and lungs. Additionally, some organs have been removed. The biggest defensive line remains is that his liver has been severely damaged due to the severing of his hepatic artery. Mo is now facing subsequent multiple surgeries and weeks to go in the hospital. Although Mo is clinging to life with medical staff not as hopeful as we, we REMAIN hopeful and prayerful that if anyone could fight on, and he has, it would be Mo just as he did all those years ago leading the Cardinals to victory. Mo will get there 1 yard at a time.
