Tough Lotus - Help keep our doors open!

Hi friends. My name is Sydnee- a regular here at Tough Lotus. For those of you unaware- it is one of the only Bungee studios in Phoenix with the addition of aerial dance and fitness, burlesque, HIIT bootcamps and pop up workshops.

We are reaching out because our studio needs help. Tough Lotus has been a huge outlet for myself and every person that walks through those doors. I think it actually saved me in a way. It’s more than just a studio with a variety of modalities- but a home and safe haven for many. The owner, Cherith, and her instructors have curated a space that allows people to be seen for their greatness and encourages each and everyone to reach their fullest potential. This is such a special place.

You may or may not know that Tough Lotus opened in the middle of Covid in 2020. 3 weeks after opening we were forced to close due to government restrictions. In addition, because of the date the business was purchased - we did not qualify for any assistance. The business had to be open as of January 2020 and we opened in June of 2020.

Somehow, we have managed to stay open for almost 4 years - thanks in large part to our amazing community.

However, we have never been able to catch up on late rent or get ahead.

Cherith and her family have poured considerable funds into the business - but most recently has suffered some job loss and other major struggles.

Which leads me to this message. In order to keep our doors open, we are looking to our community once again. Our landlord is growing ever more impatient and unwilling to work with us and we need to raise funds fast to keep this beautiful community alive and well.

Would you be willing to consider donating to help us pay our rent and catch up on past due bills? We are so close to paying off our business loan and getting out of this crisis.
