Tough Mudder 15km for Stem4
We are running the Tough Mudder 15km on the 10th of May 2025 for STEM4.
Stem4 is a charity that promotes positive mental health in teenagers and those who support them including their families and carers, education professionals, as well as school nurses and GPs through the provision of mental health education, resilience strategies and early intervention. They have also developed free apps such as CalmHarm, ClearFear and MoveMood designed for children and young people.
Megan's story:
For me exercise is a key way in which I look after my health and wellbeing. Experiencing and recovering from a broken ankle in 2024 increased my appreciation of my physical abilities and fitness. It also made me want to push myself, which is why I am completing the Tough Mudder. I wanted to raise money for stem4 as it provides brilliant resources for young people (and their support networks) to understand and look after their mental health, resources that I know would have helped me to understand and care for myself better when I was younger.
Steph's story:
I love a challenge so completing Tough Mudder 15K was always a fun idea to me. But doing it to raise some money for a good cause is even better! Having worked with young people struggling with their mental health, as a social worker and having used Stem4 apps in the past, Stem4 felt like a good local charity to support. I hope you feel the same way and if you would like to help, please do consider to donate any amount, no matter how small. It all makes a difference!
Thank you in advance for your support!!
