Help Owls & Aliens!!!

UPDATE: We have successfully made it through the SCREAM tour with Raven Black and had an absolute blast! One of the best experiences of our life and Raven,  her whole crew, and the Rejects really treated us like family. We are now on our way back home to Oregon, and unfortunately had multiple shows get cancelled on us on our route home due to circumstances out of our control. We were really relying on the funds from those shows to pay for our gas home, so if you are able to help out in any way we would really appreciate it.

Greetings friends, family, and fans,

Music has been a passion of mine since I can ever remember. My earliest memory is watching my Dad play guitar and being absolutely awestruck at how amazing it looked and sounded. From that day forward I started playing music and have since been on a journey to becoming a professional musician. Don't get me wrong, there have been a few years where I strayed from the path, but that innate desire has always pulled me back proving that it's something I couldn't escape. This year has been the most difficult of my life, after losing both my parents 6 months apart; my mother to cancer, and my father to mental health. As tough as this has been, I have continued pushing myself with my musical goals and have accomplished more this year than I ever have with my amazing band, Owls & Aliens. Despite my parents being gone, I know that I will forever continue their legacy, and currently, I am in the best position that I have ever been in my professional music career. I finally have a band that not only has the talent and ability, but the desire and drive to make this thing as big as we can. I can proudly say that this band is a top priority for all of us and every single one of us is willing to do and sacrifice whatever we need. That is the only reason that I am even willing to put this fundraiser together because I know that it will be used to accomplish something great.

For over 4 years now, Owls & Aliens has been working endlessly and taking whatever opportunities come our way. So far, we have managed to travel across almost the entire country throwing countless shows and even recording an entire full-length album. We placed 2nd in a national battle-of-the-bands competition hosted by festival aficionados DWPresents, which gained us a ton of exposure. We have even joined MVK Music Group out of Orlando, FL to help accomplish our goals, and couldn't be more thankful for the relationship we have made with our manager, Brian Paul.

Now, we are about to embark on our biggest opportunity as a band yet, opening for cinematic metal legends Raven Black, who have toured extensively across the United States, Mexico and Canada and have played multiple large festivals such as Metal in the Mountains, Corona Hell and Heaven Festival in Mexico City, DirtFest, and the Heart of Texas Rock Festival. Based out of LA, they have also previously toured and performed directly with artists such as Mushroomhead, Devildriver, Jinjer, Static-X, Cradle of Filth, Wednesday 13, Dope and many more. Joining along will also be Living Dead Girl, another up-and-coming female-fronted band that mixes heavy, gothic riffs with a fun, sexy attitude.

As blessed and as excited as we feel to be a part of this tour, like everything in life, there will be many challenges for us to overcome, the biggest of which is finances. Currently, we are still an independent band which means we are completely self-funded. There are a ton of costs that go into making a tour like this possible, and for this particular tour, the only revenue we will be making while on the road is from merchandise sales. That is why we are asking for all of your help, so we can make the most out of this opportunity and come out bigger and better for it.

Below is a list of everything that your donations will be going towards:
  • Tour Merchandise
  • Stage Backdrops and Skrims
  • Gas (10,000 miles to be covered)
  • Food
  • Live Videography/Photography
  • RV Maintenance
  • Promotion/Advertising
  • Music Gear Maintenance

We appreciate any help that you can offer, even if it is simply sharing this fundraiser, as we make our way through this amazing tour. Click here for a list of all the dates, where tickets are also available. Maybe we will see you at a show!
