Tower Hamlets Palestine Solidarity Network was formed by local residents and activists to raise awareness and mobilise the community in showing support for the Palestinians, resist the false narratives by government and media, and to hold our local elected officials to account for their silence and complicity in the genocide.
-We stand firmly for the right of Palestinians to resist occupation by any and all lawful means as is agreed in international law, by the UN and the Geneva convention.
-We stand firmly for the oppressed people of Palestine against the oppressors and the crimes they commit whether that be building illegal settlements, desecration of places of worship, killing of Palestinians and any dehumanisation of them.
-We are clear that the Zionist occupying force is the cause of the problem and that it started in 1948 with the first Nakba and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians like the massacre at Deir Yassin on 9th April 1948.
-We reject the narrative pushed by the media and politicians that portrays the occupiers as the victim whilst blaming those occupied and oppressed.
-We will work to hold our local politicians and local leaders to account for their support for illegal occupation and the subjugation of Palestine.
We are 100% community led and funded. All funds raised will be used locally to support our many initiatives.
