Town of Argyle pay for American Flags for Vet Day

Last night during the city council meeting, action item #9 that the council discussed was the purchase of 100 additional American flags to be displayed along our roadways during Veterans Day weekend. Each flag is $50, so we are looking at a $5,000 total for 100 new flags. These would be 3x5 standard flags that are staked into the ground. I would like us as a group to raise as much money as possible for the city to display as many flags as possible during Veterans Day. The flags could also be used for Memorial and 4th of July.
