Hello family, friends, supporters and wrestling community!
My name is Andrew Vera-Jackson. I began my wrestling journey at the age of 12 in Tucson, AZ. I continued into Cienega High School where I broke school records, became a 2x state placer, All-American, and made it onto Team Arizona.
I persisted in my wrestling career and education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ. This period of time brought many ups and downs in my life, but I was blessed with a amazing support system. After graduating, I got the once in a lifetime opportunity to move to Fort Worth, TX to joined the Texas Wesleyan University wrestling staff furthering my education and wrestling.
In November 2021, I earned a spot on the 22/23 Bolivian World Team. I have made the decision to focus all my efforts on the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. In doing so I will be training in around various Countries like Cuba and competing in Pan-Am championships in Argentina, World Championships and the Pan-Am Games just to name a few.
2023 and 2024 are very crucial years especially as I grow older and am finding the peak of my career. All donations will go directly towards travel, tournament fees, training fees , and directly to the ultimate goal of becoming an Olympic Champion. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small. If you are currently not in a position to leave a donation, please share.
I hope to make Americans, Bolivians, family, friends, and the wrestling community proud.
Thank you to all of you!
