FUNERAL EXPENSES FOR ROSA BORBA
Donation protected
To say that I'm sad to be writing these words is an
understatement of all understatements. My lioness of an Aunt, Rosa Borba, passed away suddenly yesterday morning. As you can imagine, the family has come together to try to make sense of this, but unfortunately that moment has yet to come.
To us she was and still is a daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many. For those of you who did not
know her on a personal level, you may remember her
as " the hot dog lady " , a staple in the Watsonville Community, working countless years at Taylor's Hot
Dog Stand. Everywhere I went with her, someone
would recognize her and a huge smile would spread across her face.
Because of her sudden and unexpected passing, we, her family, are pulling our resources together in order to make sure that wonderful Rosa will be honored in the way she deserves.
We are trying to raise funds to help with her funeral expenses. We would very much appreciate any support that anyone may be willing to give. All
funds raised will be going directly to Mehls Colonial Chapel who have been so gentle and kind during this
difficult time.
Her no nonsense attitude, wit, sense of humor, laugh and her mere presence on this planet will be
sorely missed. She unknowingly weaved parts of
herself into all of us and for that, we will be forever
blessed. Please join us as we say, not goodbye, but see you later to our lovely ROSE.
On behalf of myself and the entire family,
THANK YOU!
