Supporting Nikko Manning Family & Funeral Expenses

Hello, my name is Kenny and I am Nikko's older brother. I’m trying to help my parents out in these hard times as we have just lost our beloved Nikko June 25, 2023 due to senseless gun violence. Nikko had just turned 22 years old on June 22, and was celebrating his birthday with our parents Kenny and Nikkia along with other family members on the night of the tragedy. Nikko had escorted our mom outside to our parents vehicle to change her shoes when gunfire rang out. Nikko told our mom to get out of the car and run with him. As our mom followed, Nikko was hit by a barrage of gunfire, while our mother miraculously was unscathed. Our mother attempted to save Nikko's life with CPR for over 30 minutes to no avail. The seat our mother sat in the car was riddled with bullets as well as the rest of the vehicle.

While my family is reeling with the unexpectedly large loss of losing my best friend/my brother, we are also very grateful for the brave actions of my little brother that saved our mother's life. I don't know how I'm going to get through the rest of my life without my little brother/my shadow.... We laughed and joked with each other everyday and ended most nights hanging out or playing video games before going to bed. Now I struggle to find sleep.

Me and my family are trying to raise money to help cover the cost of funeral services, burial, and I would like to help my parents out with everything because they are crushed at the loss of yet another child. This time, they have lost their youngest child Nikko, they have lost their vehicle, and our family circle has gotten yet another link smaller.

Anyone who knew Nikko, knew he had a large heart and a larger than life smile and personality. Nikko's loss of life will be felt by many for a long time to come. Nikko was the joy and life in any room he walked into and a very loving person. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. Nikko will be deeply missed and anything that you can donate helps. THOUGH WE HAVE HAD NIKKO'S FUNERAL, WE STILL HAVEN'T HIT OUR GOAL. WE HAVEN'T RAISED ENOUGH MONEY TO COVER ALL THE COST, AND MONEY IS ALSO NEEDED TO HELP WITH TRANSPORTATION FOR MY PARENTS AND UNEXPECTED FINANCIAL COST TO OUR FAMILY DUE TO THE LOSS OF MY BROTHER.
