Help Us Help Those Who Are In Need

Family and Friends,

Our brother and sister need your help. They have been hit with a major life obstacle that would hurt even the strongest person. Our brother Ben Baddeley has been diagnosed with colon cancer, a perforated intestine, and is now fighting to recover. Ben and Becky have been in Columbia for two weeks now while he is having emergency surgery to remove part of his colon and small intestine. He also has an ileostomy bag because of the damage from cancer. He has a long road in front of him and will be out of work for a long time. Becky will be out of work for a while to take care of him and their kids, Tommy and Taryn. This is very hard on their entire family. The loss of one income and decrease in the other hits them very hard. They need all of their brothers and sisters to support them during this difficult time. If you can and feel inclined, please give to help them with the financial burden.

We all need to be like Aaron and Hur in Exodus chapter 17 verse 12 where they held up Moses’ hands and placed him on a stone to sit. As long as his hands were raised, the Israelites prevailed. They did this until the sun went down. We need to hold Ben and Becky up while they are tired and struggling, so in the end, we all will win the battle together.
