You may remember Gary from a hot summer's day at any given Village function. His trademark Hat, Smile and Camera in Hand.
Silently giving the Village residents a Cameras Eye View of the Joy's, Openings, Information and Just Plain Fun the Village has for it's Residents.
Rain or shine he always had a smile to set up the Cameras for every Video shoot asked of Him.
Always willing to take a newbie under his tutelage whether in the studio or live in the B.C.T. truck on the Hill's Concert Nights.
He was Happiest of all when the work he did Aired , and made an Impact for the Village. Whether one of our many Ethnicly diverse Days, or the Joyous Jubulie Nights with the Music flowing, Him Directing in the truck and making the Village Aware of the Magic It had to offer. That was his most Prized passion and reason to smile. Being Behind a Camera or Control board For the village Of Bolingbrook. To Silently Be it's Storyteller.
But in any story, there's a happy and a sad Ending.
Going From eating Pretzels at His Nephew's Place one day.
Too His B.C.T. family searching for Him the next day.
Admittance to University of Illinois Hospital.
Then Hospice.
From Pretzels to Posthumous plans in days.
How Do You plan for this,
When as a storm on a summer's day in an Arizona Desert,
Here Now and Gone in an Instant.
His plans were back in Motion, lockdown was Entering the phase He could start His Insurance policy back Up . Plans for a New appartment in motion .,.,.
But Mortality had a reality of it's own.
All he asked for was to Be lain at the side of His Mother at Hillcrest Cemetery here in Bolingbrook and one last goodbye.
As we all are caught financially bound from lockdown, we are asking for help for this Silent Storyteller, proud Village resident, Friend and My Brother to travel to His final Resting place.
Thank You too all that Were there in his last days and Moment, thank you to all That gave him the Kindnesses not afforded most.
