Spinal Fusion surgery

Hi, My name is Brooke Brock and I am fundraising for Rachel Gratzer (Ross). Rachel is either renovating a friend's kitchen (or entire house), landscaping, grocery shopping for strangers unable to shop for themselves, organizing disasters that are too overwhelming for the owner to tackle, or even just giving people rides to-and-from doctor's appointments that are unable to drive; all in her short window of spare time.

Now, Rachel desperately needs our help! She's a Disabled Army Veteran who had to have a Spinal Fusion done on September 22, 2022, as a number of her vertebrae were slipping forward and severely crushing her sciatic nerve to the point of numbness and chronic pain throughout her entire lower body, 24-hours a day. With her tenacity, strength, and positive spirit, you'd never know her debilitating pain. She gets up every day and helps everyone but herself.

Rachel has been directed by her Surgeon not to work or do anything strenuous for 2 months. But even after 2 months, with her line of work, she will be very limited on what she can do. She receives payment from the VA and only a small portion of her Army retirement pay every month, but it is not nearly enough to make ends meet. So to make those ends meet, she's an Independent Contractor (1099) who shops/delivers groceries for Instacart and Walmart, and also owns her own grocery delivery business. Additionally, she's an Uber Driver on occasion.

If you could find it in your heart to help Rachel during this time and make a small donation to her, it would help her immensely. Whatever you can give is more than what she had before (which isn't much). She has a mortgage payment, car payment, utilities, home and car repairs, and various odds-and-ends bills that she cannot pay without her 1099 "gig work."
