Hungry Children in Nepal

Dear friends,
Here in nepal we are in a crisis as so many nepalis here have run out of food and also rent money.Normal social functioning has stopped and there is no or little work available. At the moment I am supporting six families of which three are single parent families (just mother) on my age pension. Just yesterday for example I was confronted by fourteen children and teenagers and one adult all asking for food money when i went for a short walk. I gave them what I could -it is difficult to say no to starving humans. I am also doing what i can to refer these cases to some social support authorities here, but this is Nepal and government support is limited and not well organised. So I am asking you for whatever financial contribution you might be able to provide. Thank you for your consideration.

Just recently there is also severe flooding going on in Pokhara and in other places in Nepal, many people have died and the situation there is desperate.
