Pets in Need in Honour of Alfie

As many of you know, Alfie passed away on August 18 very suddenly and tragically. He was only with me for a year and a half and he was my best friend. He had this amazing quality that made everyone smile when they saw him. He was truly a ridiculously happy pup, had a adventurous zest for life and no fear. He was such a cuddle bug, but only on his own terms and knew exactly how to make me smile every single day. I would rush home from anything (work, holiday, dinner) just so I could see him. I'm struggling to come to terms with the loss of Alfie. He was my everyday sunshine and I feel as if I'm missing a piece of me. I thought the best way to honour his short, but amazing life was to help out other animals. I would like to donate toys, food, crates or just money to pet organizations. There are so many dogs that are rescued every day that need operations, love or homes and if I can help out in even a small way, I know Alfie would be proud.
