Support Tommy's Road to Recovery

As some of you are aware, our dear friend Tommy Seeley (21 years old) was in a tragic motorcycle accident on Friday, June 7th. Tommy was Resuscitated and admitted into Stony Brook Hospital where he was immediately brought into the OR. Tommy was in surgery for nearly 8 hours. After coming out of surgery, we learned that Tommy had over 50% severed his right arm as well as the main artery in his arm. Luckily, the amazing team at Stony Brook was able to save his arm. Tommy also suffered a broken pelvic bone, a broken femur, a small skull fracture, a broken ankle, a broken wrist, a partially collapsed lung, and many other fractures and injuries to his body. Tommy now currently has many external fixation devices on his body to help him heal.

As of Sunday morning, June 9th, the respiratory team was able to remove Tommy’s breathing and feeding tube. Tommy is making an amazing recovery so far, and we are beyond thankful for the amazing medical team at Stony Brook who did this lifesaving work.
