Help for Amy, Olivia & Ava
Donation protected
Hello, i'm starting this for my dear friend Amy, who is a nurse at Mass General Hospital in Boston. Four years ago, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had chemo, radiation and a double mastectomy. She has two teenage daughters that she's been raising while working and going thru treatment. With successful results they thought they had made it through the worst.
Unfortunately, this past September it was discovered that the cancer had spread to her bones and she has stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She has chemo every week all while working as a nurse at Mass General, so she can pay her mortgage and bills for she and her daughters Olivia and Ava. They are like family and Amy has always been there for me. She is a very strong person who would never ask for help, however, I truly feel that she is in need of help. She is in a lot of pain and sick from the chemo. I'd like to help relieve some of the financial burden, so that she can rest instead of work. One of the worst things is the fact that due to Covid, she cannot have friends visit or comfort her. I can't even imagine the isolation she feels, and do know the helplessness that her friends and family feel due to Covid. If you can help in any way be it small or large, it is appreciated. Please reach out if you have any questions and thank you for holding Amy and her family in your thoughts and prayers. xxoo
