Tracino Begay's Family

Donation protected
His name was Tracino Begay, he was my sister’s son and only 36 years old. Tracino was a veteran that served his country honorably in the Navy and also as a Marine and was discharged in 2020. His family is most beautiful, proud, and strong...they are Navajo.

Another Native American vet to slip through the cracks.  Tracino took his own life because there was no help available for his PTSD in his remote corner of New Mexico.

His mother Alma became our sister when she came to live with our family in St. George, Utah.  The bond was immediate, strong and a forever sister.

Her heart is shattered, her sweet, kind son is gone.  He was funny and adored his 17-year-old daughter Mishii.  She is so much like her father... funny and loves to laugh. Her daddy is gone and so many hearts are breaking.

My sweet sister has so very much on her plate right now, she must now bury her son and her means to do so are very slim.  A tiny bit of help for veterans can come from the tribal council but it is small. She wishes for him to be buried by his father.

Any help for my sister would be so gratefully accepted.  No mom should have to bury a child and NO mom should have to worry about how to do so.
