Urgent! Help us our Tractor is done
Donation protected
Our 1968 Ford 4000 tractor, which has served the family well in these many years, has unfortunately seized and is unable to be repaired. We are in a very urgent need of a tractor as harvest has begun.
The Lacey family first purchased our farm in 1982 with hopes and dreams to one day start their farming operations. In 2003 with hard work and dedication this dream came true when they planted their vineyard . They are a small 100% family run operation.
Kimball Lacey was working 1 full time job from 2003-2017 while also establishing and working at his family's farm. Kimball was laid off his job in April 2017 and is currently working at the family farm with no income . He always was there to help others no matter the time of day.
Currently Kimball, his wife Liz, and his father Charles (93), work the family farm with family members. It's hard work and the family is very passionate.
The Lacey family has joined with the Rotary Club to make wine and will be donating all sales proceeds to the new Picton Hospital Fund. We believe in giving back to the community and helping others in need.
