Memorial for Linda Hopkins

Linda Hopkins is a devoted traditional Catholic wife and mother and long-time parishioner of St. Mary’s Traditional Catholic Church in Tacoma, WA. She was recently diagnosed with 4 different types of cancer located throughout her body including her brain, lungs, spine, and hip. As of recently, Linda began radiation to tackle her brain cancer and her doctors are looking to treat her “from the top down” assuming that she can withstand the lengthy treatments, excruciating pain, and exhaustion of living with a disease that is taking over her body.

Chris Hopkins, Linda’s husband of almost 24 years, has been by her side every step of the way taking on the role as full-time caretaker. Neither Chris nor Linda are working during this time while Chris takes care of Linda around the clock and to all her medical appointments.

Both Chris and Linda are warm-hearted charitable people that have always given of themselves to the church. Chris is a faithful board member of St. Mary’s Church dedicating years of volunteer service and holding the unofficial title of, “Church Maintenance Man”. Linda has helped the church in various ways including taking on the role of head baker for the church’s annual bazaar.

All funds raised will go to helping pay for their monthly living expenses, medical supplies, doctor’s bills, and anything else that God throws their way during this time.

The best support we can give to them as they carry this cross together are our prayers, sacrifices, and any amount of donation to help ease their burden of financial stress so that they can focus on embracing God’s will and carrying out His plan.
