Tragedy: Beloved Vet Loses Clinic & Dogs to Fire
Donation protected
On May 26, Dr. Kim Sergent lost her large animal clinic and two of her dogs to a devastating fire. I've known Dr. Kim for 15+ years, and she is not only the best vet I know, but a dear, kind, and giving friend. While she serves the entire county of San Diego as a mobile large animal vet, she also maintains a clinic near her home in Alpine. (Scroll to bottom for photos)
The cause of the fire is still unknown, but it claimed the lives of two of her cherished dogs and a lot of her equipment, including some of the equipment she has worked to accumulate over the last 30 years, which she often loans out to her clients.
Most people don't know that her personal home's power and internet access originated in her clinic, which has caused additional collateral damage. There has been a tremendous outpouring of love and offers of help, so her friends and family have created this fundraiser to help rebuild. Any dollar amount helps. Please open your hearts to this amazing family.
