Tragedy strikes the Lusk Family
Donation protected
A snowmobile crash near Lake Joseph in Foots Bay at 1AM Friday morning, March 17th, has claimed the life of one rider, and left the passenger seriously injured - Matthew Lusk died at the scene, and Tommy Lusk, his brother, was rushed to Sudbury Hospital with life-threatening injuries and is still listed as critica.l. Their parents, Peter and Joyce Lusk, are going through an experience that no parent should have to endure. I am Judy (Lusk) Brandon, Peter's cousin and am posting this to ask for your assistance in helping Peter and Joyce, and families, to get through this tragedy.
All the money generated through this campaign will be used to help Peter and Joyce, and Matthew's and Tommy's families. Their lives have been impacted in such a negative way, a huge disruption in their lives and a pain that they will live with forever.
Our objective is to help Peter and Joyce, and their family affected by his tragedy, and to help them re-oganize their lives and move forward. This is the cause for which we are seeking donations from generous people like you, to help Matt's wife Shauna, little Josephine and Austin, and for Addy, Tommy's daughter. Their young lives will have changed forever, Matthew's children have lost their father, Josephine just 6 and Austin 4, will grow up without his love and guidance, and the uncertainty that 9 year old Addy must face, not knowing if her father is going to survive this horrific accident, is something that no child should have to face.
Financial decisions and difficulties are not issues that Peter and Joyce should have to deal with at this difficult time; all their energy and support, love , care and attention is with Tommy to get better.
Through GoFundMe, it is hoped that we can collect enough money to help Peter and Joyce in their time of need, to look after incidentals and bills, living expenses, funeral arrangements - all issues that they should not be faced with at this point in time. Their energy has to be spent on bringing their family together, to grieve together, to support Tommy and work through his survival.
From the entire Lusk family, we thank you in advance for your generosity, and to express to you how much our family appreciates your support.
