Tragic accident leaves 25 year old widow

Johnna and Brett Rivers met in 2011 one year after she had lost her beloved father and best friend unexpectedly. The tragedy left a void in her heart that she thought would never be filled, until she met Brett. Young love at just 16 years old he became Johnna’s rock, her backbone, and her best friend. He helped her through one of the darkest times of her life. They began dating in 2012 and after 7 years together, were married in November of 2019.

Johnna and Brett had just purchased their first home together shortly before their wedding. Brett worked hard to give Johnna the life that she wanted and deserved. They recently made the decision to have her go back to school, while Brett would provide the income so that Johnna did not have that extra stress. He was the soul provider of their household and was hoping that she would soon be carrying their first baby- as they had officially started trying to expand their family over the past few months.

Tragically, on May 6th, 2021 Brett was in a fatal car accident, leaving Johnna a widow at just 25 years old. Johnna lost her best friend, her rock- her everything.

Not only is Johnna devastated by the loss of her husband when their life as husband and wife had just begun, she is soon going to face other obstacles- house payments, student loans, car payments, etc. It’s unimaginable to face this so young, but if there is any way you can put yourself in her position, we are asking for everyone to come together and allow Johnna to have the time to mourn and grieve her loss without having to worry about financial burdens.
