Tragic Car Crash Victim Brandy Sagewright-Payne
On Monday August 29th, Brandy Sagewright-Payne and her 3 children were t-boned by a large truck at the Colorado Hwy 85 and 29 junction . You can catch a glimpse of the horrific wreckage that was their car in the pic above. By the grace of God all survived; the kids with minor injuries, but Brandy took the full impact.
She was Lifeflighted to a Level 1 trauma center in Denver where she remains in a medically-induced coma and clinging to life.
The severity of her injuries is staggering: skull fractures, traumatic brain injury, neck and back fractures, collapsed lung, bruised heart, broken arm, hand, leg and pelvis.
She will require many surgeries and a long rehabilitation road ahead. But Brandy knows how to fight. She served in the 12th Regiment of the First Cavalry in Iraq and was medically discharged. Her children need her; her fiancé Ric Payne needs her (he himself a twice-wounded Marine combat veteran).
What she may not survive is the avalanche of medical bills that will stretch into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. That's where you come in: please consider even a small donation. Every little bit counts toward her recovery.
Thank you in advance for anything you can contribute.
