Samuel Casas Death. Funds for his son Jayden

Donation protected

The life of Samuel Casas has has been cut short. Tragically. Needlessly. Violently.
Sam was murdered by three gunshots to the chest at 9am on a Saturday.  Hewas just 30 years old.
In his truck, waiting for emergency responders, he made one last phone call. He called my sister. He wasn’t able to speak.
I know his last thoughts were of her and their 8 year old son, Jayden.

It was a robbery, but in a moment, my nephew has been robbed of a lifetime of moments. He loves his Daddy. His Daddy loves him.
Jayden and Sam were very best friends. They did everything together.
Sam had a twinkle in his eye, but the apple of his eye was his only son, Jayden.

My sister is grieving. Beside herself. She needs help. She needs time. Jayden needs taken care of.
I am currently trying to raise these funds for counseling, school, attorneys and just regular life finances.
Just the day to day expenses. Sam’s number one priority was Jayden. If you’ve ever had a child, you know that
everything costs money! He is always in the 100th! percentile for height and grows like a reed!
I am trying to help them get through this time and figure out how they will survive
without the person who cared about them the most. In my highest hopes, I will be able to start him a trust fund so that he will be prepared when the time comes for him to go to college.

I know we are in a very challenging time in the world right now, but if you are able, please help me to help my family at this time.

Every donation matters.
No matter how small.
We thank God for each and every one of your thoughts, kindness and prayers.

If you can’t donate, please share. Thank you for hearing our story.

Sam was funny. He had a great sense of humor and always liked playing jokes and keeping things fun. Sam and my sister were friends
for 3 years before they started dating. He was always in love with her. Then came my beautiful nephew Jayden.
Three years into their relationship, Sam fell at work and injured his spine.

He would have to be in a wheel chair. I can’t believe that he recovered from that tragedy, only to die of this one.

My nephews tablet is attached to my sisters phone. I called her and I was crying —- but Jayden answered the tablet faster than she was able to get to her phone. He said “Why are you crying, Auntie?” And I said because I’m sad about your Daddy, buddy. and Jayden said: “ that’s okay Auntie— they don’t have wheelchairs in heaven.”

My heart broke open eve more. Out of the mouths of babes.

God bless you and your family. <3

****It must be noted that Koda and Sam co-parented and shared custody. NO ONE ELSE has CUSTODY or living expenses for my 8 year old nephew. There is another go fund me for his funeral - this one is specifically for my nephews living expenses, school and life.

***At the time this was authored this is an open and ongoing investigation. We are praying for JUSTICE for Sam.
