Tragic loss of Dwight Parsons “Red”

We need your support in the tragic loss of Mika , Gen and Kira’s father Dwight Parsons

Nathan and Mika were at the races at Bowmen Gray Stadium Saturday night with her parents Dwight and Patty Parsons. On their way home Mika’s parents were on a motorcycle and were hit by a drunk driver who crossed the middle line. Her father was killed instantly and her mother is in intensive care in critical condition.

She has 2 broken legs and broken ankle, pelvis, ribs, collar bone and she sustained spinal injuries and injury to her liver. She also has a brain bleed. Her vitals have remained good and she is alert and awake. She will be facing multiple surgeries and the next few days will be critical.

These circumstances have brought an immediate financial need for the girls to be able to support and care for their mom through her long road to recovery as well as make final arrangements for their dad.

This was a hit and run incident with an uninsured driver so there are no resources there for them.

Mika and Kira are both expecting mommas so we also need prayer for extra protection on them and their babies as they walk through this. Special thoughts and prayer for Lucius as we try to help him understand the loss of his papa.
