In their time of need, they borrowed a generator from a friend, despite their unfamiliarity with its operation. A Devastating Loss: On August 26, 2023, tragedy struck. Leo and Yelena were supposed to head to work early in the morning, but they never arrived. Concerned friends reached out, and Yerlandy, their loving son, went to check on them. What he discovered was a heart-wrenching scene: Leo's lifeless body lay by the front door, and Yelena was found unconscious on the bedroom floor. Despite his efforts and the arrival of medical responders, it was too late. Both Leo and Yelena had passed away, due to a high degree of contamination from the carbon monoxide expelled by the generator, leaving a void that can never be filled.

A Plea for Support: This unexpected loss has left the family devastated emotionally and financially. Leo and Yelena's journey, filled with aspirations and dreams, was brought to a tragic halt, leaving behind a grieving community that loved them dearly.
