Tragically Kicked by a Horse! Please Help Wendy!

This is a Go Fund Me request for my friend Wendy  Blevins who was tragically injured when kicked by a horse. Wendy is an accomplished horse woman, but the yearling she was handling managed to kick her so hard that it ruptured the connection between her stomach and her small intestines. She underwent two long and intense surgeries and spent two days on a ventilator.  A week later, she’s still in the hospital, and she will need an in home caregiver for several more weeks.  

Wendy is a newlywed; marrying Shawn Blevins in May.  Their hopes and dreams came to an earth shattering halt Tuesday Aug 25.  Shaun has been by her side throughout and will continue as her caregiver as long as needed.

Fortunately, I have never been seriously injured by a horse, but it can happen to any of us, and it happens in a split second.  As a friend and fellow horse woman, I am launching this Go Fund Me page to help with Wendy’s expenses until she and Shawn can resume their lives.
