Train adults in Ghana to care for specialneed kids

Hi I’m Megan, and I am wife and mother of 4 beautiful kids, two of them have special needs. Did you know that in third world countries kids with special needs are often treated like they are cursed? Most are cast out of society and people are afraid to care for them. They are abused, neglected, and often times left for dead. As a mother of special needs kids ( any kids for that matter ) this breaks my heart and I have always wanted to make a difference. I have recently received the opportunity to partner with a local missions team to go to Ghana, Africa where we will be teaching and training people how to have compassion and how to take care of children with special needs. We will also be breaking ground on a new orphanage building, and thanks to our newly drilled well we will be planting an orchard of fruit trees to sustain this village! I am so excited to be a part of this but as you know it can be costly to travel around the world. This is such a tremendous cause! I hope you will consider helping me raise funds to go and help train these wonderful people. The cost is $3500+ for me to go. As a family of 6 we just don’t have an extra 4k or so just laying around.
